[Sports Seoul | [Reporter Jeong Ha-eun] Group Oh My Girl's Hyo-jung was diagnosed with a novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).

On the 31st, the agency WM Entertainment said, “Member Hyojung was diagnosed with Corona 19 in a preemptive rapid antigen test that day due to mild cold symptoms.”

“Hyojung will suspend all schedules for 5 days in accordance with the guidelines recommended by the quarantine authorities and take necessary measures and rest,” they explained.

Except for Hyojung, all members of Oh My Girl tested negative, and currently have no abnormal symptoms.

Hyojung plans to resume activities after full recovery is confirmed, and for the time being, she will continue her activities with 5 members. The agency added, "We will do our best to focus on treatment while considering the health and safety of our artists as our top priority."

Meanwhile, Oh My Girl made a comeback with the release of their ninth mini album 'Golden Hourglass' on the 24th.
