[Sports Seoul | Reporter Jeong Ha-eun] Group Highlight Son Dong-woon reveals that he will get married in September and becomes the first married man in the team.
On the afternoon of the 27th, Son Dong-woon's agency, Aroundus Entertainment, said, "Son Dong-woon plans to continue his active activities as a highlight member, singer-songwriter, and all-round entertainer even after marriage."
The wedding will be held privately with only family and close friends in attendance.
On this day, Son Dong-woon released a handwritten letter and directly informed his fans of his marriage. He explained, "Thankfully, I met someone who understands and cares about me a lot, and at some point I thought I wanted to be with you, and decided to hold a ceremony in September."
He emphasized, “I will not forget my gratitude to everyone and will try to do my best several times more than I have done so far.
In response to the sudden marriage announcement, some speculated that it was a premarital pregnancy, but the agency drew the line saying, "It is not a premarital pregnancy."
